ABOUT
Built by people who spent careers protecting others.
Our story
Former law enforcement officers and military veterans founded Blue Haven International after spending their careers investigating trafficking from the inside. We know how it works, who it targets, and how to spot it early. We've seen it firsthand.
We incorporated in California in 2024 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Right now, we focus on community education. We bring K9 Gerty, our scent-detection dog, into schools, churches, and civic groups to teach parents and kids how trafficking operates and what to watch for. Gerty also stands ready to support missing-child searches.
This is prevention work built on real investigative experience, not theory. It's how we're using what we learned in the field to protect families before trafficking ever gets the chance to touch them.
Leadership
Blue Haven International is led by former law enforcement officers and military veterans who spent their careers working cases alongside local, state, and federal partners.
Andrew Fivecoat
Chief Executive Officer
Army veteran and former police officer who served on specialized narcotics and gang units, including multi-agency task forces working alongside federal partners. That work showed him how trafficking fuels criminal organizations and what it does to the people caught in it. After an injury ended his law enforcement career, he partnered with K9 Gerty to keep doing the work. He handles Gerty and leads Blue Haven's outreach and search readiness.
Christopher Cervantes
Secretary
Retired law enforcement officer with a career spent working investigations alongside federal partners. He brings that investigative experience to Blue Haven's operations and helps keep the organization's records, governance, and partnerships in order.
Johnnie Paxton
Chief Financial Officer
Army veteran and former law enforcement officer, medically retired after years of service. He oversees Blue Haven's finances and ensures every donated dollar goes where it's supposed to.
